We kicked off this week with a cold open of Ed lighting the menorah – Happy Hanukkah!

Ed read some fan letters, none of which applied to the actual content of our show, but viewers seemed very concerned about issues like Ed’s hair.  Next, Julie filled us in on this week’s comedy news, discussing the passing of comic legend Leslie Nielsen.  Then she pitched our upcoming guests the idea of adding a female cast member to The Whitest Kids U’Know, volunteering herself for the role.  She wore a sleeveless shirt to illustrate her white credentials – this made Ed uncomfortable, but Julie persisted.  Next, Ed introduced me and I explained stumbling upon Sam Brown’s audition tape for Miss March – we all watched in horror.

Our first guests were Alie Ward & Georgia Hardstark of “Drinks with Alie & Georgia”.  Ed chatted with the comedy mixology duo about their show on Food2.com, Georgia’s recent engagement, and the rumors of their secret love affair.  Then they mixed and served us the ”Mushugenah Macaroon” – a Hanukkah-themed spirit.  (Which was delicious AND got me buzzed).

Next up were Trevor Moore & Sam Brown of “The Whitest Kids U’Know”.  They talked about their show on IFC (going into its 5^th season next year) and discussed what they could about their upcoming film.  They talked at length about their personal and professional lives – at least what they could remember.  We discussed how they met, formed the group, their move to LA, and comedic heroes.  They talked about the reactions their boundary-pushing sketches get from their families and IFC.  They answered viewer questions and this week’s “Celebrity Questions” – submitted by fellow Whitest Kid, Timmy Williams.
