About Uzu
Uzu is an iPad application which allows users to create an interactive fireworks show on their iPad. Here’s the official description, “Points of light will shoot across the screen and fly to your command, twirling in a vortex of color and motion. Freeze and move Uzu in 3d space while contorting spirographic curves with your fingers. Uzu lets you quickly switch between 10 different modes of real-time animation by simply changing the number of touches you’re using.”

The News
Apple will be launching the iPad in nine additional countries on Friday, including Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.
Apple has published a 13 page response to a request for information about iOS privacy to two federal lawmakers.
Multi-touch technology may be further expanding outside of the iPad and iPhone realm at Apple with a track-pad device designed for the desktop.
Apple has released an update to iTunes to 9.2.1 and an updated version of iBooks which fixes a number of bugs in the software.
It was reported that Apple would charge iPad users to upgrade to iOS 4.0 when the software is release for the iPad later this fall, but the rumor turned out to be false.
