- Faye jeopardizes her job for Don
- Pete misses his daughter’s birth for SCDP
- Don asks Faye to violate her own business to save his, because “this is everything to me”
- “I’m sure this agency was a thrill…you’ve had your folly…”
- Lane is needed and absent; he’s with his family
ROGER STERLING’S DOWNFALL
- Roger’s seeming more and more pathetic each week
- Sterling is a petulant child.
- Only one rood of Roger is his wife, who knows nothing about him.
TRUDY GIVING BIRTH
- Trudy’s dad was at a ballgame when Trudy was born
- Pete has a daughter but the agency is more important
ALL HANDS MEETING
- Rumsen and Stan guessing what has happened…much like the viewers do each week
- Don’s pep talk…”It will be exhilarating”
- “Be successful”…great advice…
ROGER AND JOAN
- Roger feels guilt, and admits to Joan that he’s a liar
- She’s seeing him for what he is here
- “I’m not a solution to your problems…I’m another problem.”
GLO-COAT
- Don has to warm himself up before answering the phone
- Asks Megan not to “let him overdo it.” Cut him off at 3 drinks.
MEGAN
- Don’s in her head all day!
- “You judge people on their work…I’m the same way.”
- She’s been waiting for her chance
- “I’m not going to run out of here crying tomorrow…I just want you right now.”
- Already dead when this episode is set
- He died in a airplane crash. he was flying the plane to Nashville along with his business partner and manager. they had bought a property in Batesville, Arkansas.
