Though the episode stands on its own, the extended story about GenY and their feelings of entitlement really deserves its own rant. I think if most GenY listened to TWiST, they would be utterly confused, not understanding why so many of us are so frustrated by them. I understand there are some really motivated GenY people out there and I applaud them. But to the countless drones that just do the minimum and expect a pat on the head, I say get off your asses.

GenY, your prescription is to watch every episode of TWiST and read all of Seth Godin's books (to start). If you don't, you'll continue to just be ordinary. You'll just be the replaceable cog that you are.

Blazetrak sounds like a great idea, but it has the dumbest name ever. When I heard it on the show (multiple times) I googled for “Lacetrack” “Racetrack” and bunch of other things until I gave up and checked the show notes.

Make your company name google friendly. How's that for a startup tip?

Some gen Y kids including yours truly manage to not job hop. I have been with the last two companies I worked for for 4 years each now. I have my own companies on the side which doesn't interfere with my current employment or breach any signed contracts. Be careful with what you say about my generation…we are taking over slowly :)
