*Fund 1: A closed fund raises $100M or $200M usually during a period of time is (7 to10yrs), you invest for 4-5yrs then harvest (sell some companies, IPO) in year 10 you expect to return on capital

*Evergreen : No closed period or exit at within a fixed period of time; proceeds returned from the fund are put back into the fund and that’s where terms comes from.
