    A big reason Cisco bought Flip was for the management team. Cisco viewed them as a group that can make technology cool and usable to a broad audience. As Cisco reaches less technical consumers with Linksys, they need a team that could speak the language. The Flip team’s influence is first being directed to the home.cisco.com site. We shall see how much of a difference the Flip team can make. Generally big companies have a lot of politics that tie the hands of newcomers, and entrepreneurs have a natural aversion towards big companies.
