Great episode Mark.  Interesting to hear how you are using Trello and EmelloApp . . . and surely you envision and know it is possible for an even better approach . . . but who is building that?  It would be great to get more detail on the opportunity to better meet your needs in this area.

Indeed there is a significant business / user need for a better solution and I am early in solving this big problem in a way that will leap ahead of alternatives . . sooner or later, startups will need to be willing to solve bigger problems in a more integrated approach to prevent businesses from needing to use so many different solutions, all of them following their own roadmap which is a risk for businesses (will they be acquired, will they fold, will they go a totally different direction . . alot of uncertainty exists in the minds of business decision makers).

We see the likes of Google, SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and others acquiring pieces to the business puzzle in hopes of consolidating into a more valuable solution offering . . and simultaneously the likes of Zapier, MuleSoft and others tackling the integration problem . . . but that stills leaves a significant opportunity for smart people willing to solve a big problem in a simple, integrated, consolidated and elegantly designed way.  Happy to talk.

Note:  I also replied to Drew’s post, mentioning CapLinked and how they work with AngelList.
